Please enter the correlating number on your applicant spreadsheet that was sent to you by our office when your recruitment ended.  We have split these non-selection reasons up by EHRA Non-Faculty and SHRA employee type.  You can just type “selected” for your selected candidate.

EHRA Non-Faculty Reasons 

Not Interviewed, Not Selected

*Please add a “S” after the non-selection code if the applicant was screened.  Approval is not required to screen an applicant.  For questions regarding screening please refer to the Hiring Playbook.

  1. Withdrew from consideration
  2. Unable to Contact
  3. Accepted another offer
  4. Contacted but declined/no show
  5. Applicant review shows lack of directly related skills and abilities
  6. Application review shows sufficient skills and abilities, but less than the selected candidate
  7. Applicant does not meet educational requirements
  8. Application does not meet qualifications and experience posted

Interviewed, Not Selected

*these are for approved interviews (On-site, Zoom and/or Skype)

*a regrets email that is generated by the University will be sent to your candidates that were interviewed except for those that have the code #20. The candidates coded “20” will receive their autogenerated email letter once the accepted candidates first day of employment ( in the event your first choice of selected candidates decline the offer).

SHRA Non-Selection Reasons

Interviewed, Not Selected
